  • How to use and adjust your ski boots?--KAIPI SPORTS
1.Adjust the forward lean of the boot via the control near your ankle. More forward lean can help aggressive skiers, but if you are an intermediate, too much forward lean can lead to problems and potential injuries. Experiment with how much forward lean feels comfortable to you. 2.Adjust the upper lateral cuff so that it is in alignment with your calf and knee. For skiers who have a more bowlegged stance, this means the cuff tilts outward; if you have a more knock-kneed stance, the cuff should tilt inward. 3.Adjust the flex. Be careful with this adjustment. Many intermediate skiers may be on boots that are too stiff, but if you go for too much flex, your skiing will suffer and you will have to work harder. The stiffness is usually adjusted via a lever near the back of the boot. 4.Fasten the power strap around the top of the boot so that it is snug. 5.Fasten the lowest buckle at the middle position of its range. Fasten the rest of the buckles, working from low to high. 6.Fine tune the tightness of the buckles, working low to high. The fit should be tight, but not feel like a vise grip that cuts off circulation in your foot. Make sure you can still wiggle and feel your toes. Finish by snugging up the power strap as tight as it goes so that there is no slop at the top of the boot.

  • How to clean a ski boot?--KAIPI SPORTS
Hand Wash 1.Remove the liners from the ski boots. Typically they can just be yanked out. 2.Fill a sink with warm water and a squirt of liquid dish soap. Add 1/4 cup household ammonia if the liners have a bad odor. 3.Place the liners in the sink with the mixture. Allow them to soak for 5 minutes. Use a sponge or medium-bristled brush to scrub the liners. 4.Rinse the liner under cool sink water to remove all soap residue. Wring all excess moisture from the ski boot liners. 5.Stuff the ski boot liners with paper towels so they retain their shape and allow them to air dry. Do not use heat or a dryer to dry the liners, as that can shrink them. Machine Wash 1.Remove the liners from the ski boots. Typically they can just be yanked out. 2.Wash them in a washing machine set to a gentle cycle with a mild laundry detergent. 3.Remove the liners once the cycle is completed. Stuff the ski boot liners with paper towels so they retain their shape and allow them to air dry. Do not use heat or a dryer to dry the liners, as that can shrink them.
